First time at La Puerta restaurant and I will 100% be returning. My wife and I shared the device and it was delicious! Coupled with 2 margaritas on the rocks that were bomb. Definitely recommend going for happy hour from 3-5pm. For dinner we shared the carneasada fries...... AMAZING.... it was really fresh and every bite made us want more! For sure 2 people can share and have plenty.
Great spot with great food. Nice atmosphere with bar, table, and booth seating. Rustic feel but clean with some character. Worth it for the burritos, wow they are great. Decent beverage selection with the standard liquor options along with some good local beers.
Good Mexican restaurant. I had lunch there and service of their staffs are so good. They recommendation and explained everything clearly. I got 3 Tacos of beef and shrimp. Taste of food are good. Nacho and salsa are free for the service. Seating area are comfortable. Credit card accepted. Enjoy !
I ordered the surf and turf taco along with a Mexican Coke. The taco was absolutely delicious, and the portion size was huge—definitely worth it! However, the salsa for the chips was a bit bland and could use more flavor. As for the Coke, I didn’t notice much of a difference compared to regular Coke, aside from the glass bottle presentation. The atmosphere seems more suited for a dinner vibe rather than lunch. Overall, a solid experience, especially for the tacos!
Surprisingly good and fresh Mexican food. The traditional pollo asada burrito (+ added rice, beans and cheese) was my favorite - Ooey and melty with the perfect amount of avocado. We devoured everything and thoroughly enjoyed our 2 for 1 happy hour cocktails.
